Week 7: This Is VT’sFinest Commercial Spot #1
Having always been a fan of Sportscenter and their hilarious commercials, we were inspired to make our own as an ode to their genius.  I really think the premise is great, with just a few negatives on the technical side of it (crappy sound, shooting subjects with the camera facing the light, etc.), but I am really proud of the originality and great use of what video editing tools we had.  I’ll post the blooper reel later which to this day still makes me LOL.  My favorite part is towards the end when Powell is talking to himself and has an Oscar-worthy emotional performance.  Also, the music choice (Girl from Ipanema), really does the trick.
